An angel without the strength to fly.
No time to play and frolic like most.
Too soon it was to say goodbye.

Your time came so quickly
to clip your little wings.
So full of life and energy and love.
Such sadness the last sight of you brings.

Fly away, little one
with peace in your heart.
Go far away from this terrible place
and try to make a better start.

I'm so happy for you, little one
but it also hurts to see you go.
Even though a piece of me is dying too,
it makes a space for another to grow.

A Bad First Love

How could you do this, You never really cared,
You pretended to have feelings that were never really there,

I saw right through you a long time ago,
I just cared too much to accept it and let it go,

You walked all over my feelings by stringing me along,
Why didn’t you just tell me instead of doing me so wrong,

Years down the road I’m sure you will still cross my mind,
And to you I will be just a memory that you left behind,

I should disregard your feelings like you did to mine,
Hurt you the same way and act like I’m fine,

But I can’t do that because I actually have a heart,
Which you have so insensitively just torn apart,

It hurts so much to know that you cared never,
And even after knowing this, I will be left caring forever,

He's broke my heart twice,
I feel like a pack of lost mice,
Trying to find their way,
To a better and brighter day.

Tears falling down my face,
Like a strand of lace,
Hanging off,
Dangling in the air,
Like nothings even there.

I wish I could fly like a dove,
Instead of have my heart broken for love.
